In every other Elder Scrolls or Fallout game, seeing something that is not ordinary is always worth investigating and something that draws attention. It may be the lack of object physics, or the not-so-believable gamey feeling of 25 people running through a city looking like a spawn of satan, followed by their companion pet which glows in the dark. The nature of MMO engines, for me at least, always makes them less appealing because they tend to feel so sterile. What I'm trying to get across here is the stark difference in feeling and immersion in contrast to ESO. Collect forks and store them under the Jarl's throne as some kind of joke? Be a naturalist necromancer who fights side by side with his ressurected wolves he killed earlier? All possible. The Gamebryo/Creation Engine, in my opinion makes the following possible: You are given the tools to, as a player, roleplay your character if you want to. Sit down at a local Bar and drink a mead or two, although it does nothing. Pop that Scavenger's head off with a shotgun blast. Really send that bandit flying with Unrelenting Force. Pick up every object you see, misc, or legendary weapon. Much that we love about our BGS games is part of the tech which is used. How would you do that? Well, first off you take the same old but gold Gamebryo Engine and somehow tune it, so that a shared multiplayer experience can work. You take a single-player RPG and create a spinoff with the goal to keep the feeling of 3/4 and NV. A really intruiging idea this game must have been in the heads of the BGS team. I know that somewhere, in an alternative Universe there must exist a game like this and I hope me and my fellow Elder Scrolls fans are enjoying that.
